Taking a look back in my files I found my New Years Eve Towel Cake for four I designed back in 2007. I will give you some quick written instructions, and hopefully I can produce of video before the big date:) This towel cake has: One bar towel- four shot glass necklaces- four top hats- four tiaras- four plastic champagne glasses, black and gold boa, and party favors. This is also a great idea for kids... using different kid-friendly items of course.Your favorite party supplies will have most of everything you'll need in one place.I do apologize in advance for the photos as my camera back then was not the greatest.
One large bar towel (white)
Four plastic champagne glasses (clear works best)
Four tall plastic black top hats
Four shot glass necklaces (plastic shot glasses)
Party favors and decorations.(stars & stuff)
Black and gold boa
If you need help with the towel folding just pop on over to my video Here
Start with just folding the towel. Fold towel either in half (lengthwise) or if towel is too large fold in each side then fold again, stack top hats all together and wrap folded towel around the base of the stacked top hats and secure in back with corsage pins.
Take packing paper and stuff the inside of top hats, make sure it's packed really well. Now place boa on top of paper.. now we are ready to start placing items inside the cake! Take you champagne glasses and put them in the back of cake, behind the packing paper.. push bottoms of glasses down into the hats.
(Note: Always start from the back and work your way to the front of the cake)
Arrange the rest of the items except the shot glasses, those you put in last insert the "chain" parts into front part of cake in front of packing paper and let them hang out of cake. If the store doesn't supply them any longer you can make your own by cutting holes to put on chain on them or glue chain to glasses. Now just arrange stars, or any other decorations inside you cake and you have a beautiful functional party gift!

Planning a Wedding Ceremony is one of the Best times of your life! ..and these are days that should be filled with excitement & happiness but we all know frustration & stress can turn this joyous event into a puddle of tears, arguments & hurt feelings. Many nightmare episodes can be prevented simply by being yourself & learning to shut out the well-meaning but provocative background 'noise' of others (and this happens with unbelievable frequency!).
Money - another leading cause of wedding bell blues! Nuptial costs have become outrageous & we often don't even realize the strain they're causing. Take, food. Many catering menus offer a chicken, veg, potato, dessert dish - with a price tag of over $40 per plate (for CHICKEN!), not including beverages! We haven't even seen the other choices yet - and you were planning to invite how many people?
That gown looks gorgeous - and for only $2,500 you can have it! Those centerpieces would look wonderful on guest tables but your budget might feel squeezed $50 to $60 per item. And this is just for starters! GOOD NEWS ahead! No matter the size or the season, weddings deserve time to plan. You'd be surprised at how much money you can save & put BACK into your pocketbook with just an ounce of creativity - and a few tablespoons of common sense!
"How To Have A Beautiful, Stressless Wedding and Save Money" provide ways to create the wedding of your dreams while keeping you, your family & your groom from being overwhelmed with financial anxiety (before and after). The last thing you need is to be straddled with a lot of debt that often follows months or even years after your Special Day! (Acquaintances of mine came home from their two-week Carribean cruise beautifully tanned, relaxed, happy as larks - and $13,000 in wedding expenses waiting to be paid!)
Many people plan their wedding following the expectations of others! Don't do it! I've witnessed too many problems arise: good friends breaking relationships, family members no longer talking & so on. It happens too often & can be avoided. Another thing I pass on is an appalling wedding expectation that should never enter your sense of entitlement! Mostly, I offer practical advice, such as:
* Suggestions for wedding showers and gifts that are overlooked but would be a blessing to the bride and groom - either before or after they've said "I do".
* A complete dinner menu with cooking instructions, purchasing suggestions, etc. that will save a ton of money! Lots of love went into creating & catering this delicious menu for two very good friends as my gift (they budgeted a certain amount of money for food; I spent less & returned money to them!).
* How to cut down on the price of beverages - whatever they are - at your reception!
* More affordable ways of getting your wedding cake, decorations, flowers, deejays!
What's wonderful about today's affairs is they can be planned according to your own personal style and preferences. We've now seen everything from flowing white gowns to bathing suits! Weddings have clearly come to illustrate the phrase 'different strokes for different folks', haven't they?
I am so pleased to offer "How to To Have A Beautiful, Stressless Wedding and Save Money" as a helpful guide to making your wedding planning days filled with MORE of the Joys of the Occasion! Only $5.99 & just 20 pages packed with information you'll enjoy & turn to over and over again keeping your spirits high & sanity intact!

Let's be honest: stretching money during the Holiday Season can be a challenge. You wonder
about what kind of thoughtful gifts you can give while keeping an eye on the budget. Well, I can
help with a theme-centered gift around a subject everyone loves at this time of year: food! And,
it fits beautifully with our Christmas Candy Gift Basket!!
Universally, Chocolate is the hands-down favorite of treats. Why not make a collection of some
fabulous recipes & turn it into a warm, heart-felt gift. It's easy, fun, gender-friendly and the very
best of it is the cost: only $5!
Here's how you do it:

copying the list you can make as many gifts as you want. You can choose to use all the recipes
for each gift or separate them out. (If you like, you can view the entire list before you download.

Using colored paper, paste/tape the recipes then put them in a colored folder or one of those small
